One Hand Short Shots

By: Unknown

Players set up from 3-5 feet from the basket.

Have players hold the ball out in front of them with the shooting hand. Then, they bend their knees and turn the ball over into their shooting pocket. At this point they should check their balance and that the elbow is under the ball. The player then releases the ball without jumping and holds his follow through until the ball drops through the basket.

If you are short baskets, this drill could be done against a wall.
