Twelve players are divided into four teams of three. Only two teams work at a time. One team lines up on the baseline with one player in the corner, one under the basket, and the last one in the opposite corner. The opposing team faces the three on the baseline but setup opposite them at the free thow line extended. The team at the baseline is the offensive team and the team at the foul line extended is defensive team. Each player from the defensive team gets a number 1, 2 or 3. The offensive player under the basket has the ball. The drill starts when the coach shouts a number between 1 and 3. The palyer whose number is called must run to the baseline, touch it and then return to the other end of the court and try to play defense. The offensive team tries to run and score before the defense recovers.
