That’s right, practice winning a game. It’s important your team knows what to do when they win (so they don’t look like it’s their first time), and it’s a great energy and spirit booster that makes for a nice way to end practice. Put a defensive team out on the field and say it’s the last inning. Hit fungos and make them get 3 outs. Then the players in the dugout and on the field act as if that just won a game. Go through the high fives and line up to shake hands. Repeating this a few times helps them look and feel good.
